The Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art, designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), is a significant cultural project situated along the Jinji Lake in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. Spanning 60,000 m², the museum is conceived as a "village" of 12 interconnected pavilions, each serving distinct functions while collectively embodying a modern interpretation of Suzhou's rich architectural and garden heritage. The pavilions are characterized by sloping roof eaves and façades made of rippled and curved glass, complemented by warm-toned stainless steel that reflects the surrounding garden colors.
